>>This says Toffler talks about a super-industrial society.

WL: Have you read the books? I have - many times, back when they were first
published. Here is the curve of Tofflers writings, which provide an outline
and
back drop: 1970 - Future Shock - read; 1980 - The Third Wave - read, 1990 -
Powershift - read; 1995 War and Anti War - read, as well as various articles
by
an array of so-called "futurists."

If you have not read this material it is no crime. Why pretend to know
something of an author one has not read? I remember the impact of The Third
Wave on
Chinese society and the internal political struggle within the CPC in the
mid
1980s. It is not to late to read this book - keeping in mind it was
published

CB: You are not quite catching my drift here. I'm not pretending to have
read the books. My standard is, if you mention a book, it is on you to
summarize the thesis. I ain't going out and reading it. If you want to use
it in an argument, you gotta reduce it for this format. The burden is on you
to make a case for Toffler's thesis. My take on the current changes in
science and technology is from Marxist books. And then I read some
engineering on robotics , etc.

Presumably these encyclopedia writers have read the books. Are you saying
that the encyclopedia summary of the theses is inaccurate ? If so, say how.
It's on you to summarize the thesis.

Again , does Toffler or does he not use term "superindustrial" ? You have
referred to "post-industrial" in our past discussions, and I have used
"super-industrial " ( derived independently of Toffler).
