A-List] Bush the Hegelian ________________________________
* From: Omahkohkiaayo_ipoyi Bush the Hegelian It is clear, and the overwhelming evidence is irrefutable, that Bush and his gang of neocons were headed for Iraq long before Bush ever stole the first election. Not only do various insider accounts show this, but some of the documents that have been taken out by the likes of Richard Clarke and Paul O'Neill (both remain Republicans) show beyond any doubt this is the case. And despite all of this evidence, Bush continues, as he did in his press conference in Chicago today, to try to argue that Saddam Hussein could have gone the diplomatic route and could have avoided invasion and regime change but did not make the right choices. Some of the reasons for going into Iraq are clear: a) oil and the present and future control of it; b) a neocon belief that the first Gulf War was not prosecuted properly or fully; c) a longstanding rivalry between Bush and his daddy; d) a neocon notion of domestic initiatives--including the progressive laying of the foundations of a permanent Republican control over all three branches of government and the laying of the foundations of fascism--and being leveraged by the likely high approval ratings of a "Wartime President" and the likely unwillingness of the general public to want to undercut such a president in a time of war; e) a demonstration effect sent to any potential future threats to the US that the US is willing to initiate preemptive and devastating force, on multiple fronts, without much pretext and without UN cover if necessary (e.g. to Gadhafy causing him to give up quests for WMD); f) a 1% Doctrine that says if even 1% change of a given terrorist event against the US, it is to be treated as a certainty and the issue will only be the nature and effectiveness of the response and not any need for any legal or diplomatic cover for the response; g) a longstanding policy of the Bush gang of certain and massive--if not swift--revenge against anyone crossing or betraying secrets of the Bush family--revenge for an alleged hit attempt against Poppy Bush in 1993 by Saddam Hussein. But in his new book The 1% Doctrine by Ron Susskind he suggests another motive that was alluded in several accounts of the philosophy and doctrines of Skull and Bones: "Creative Chaos or Creative Instability". Skull and Bones was formed in 1832 by General William Russell and Alphonse Taft from the proceeds of the Opium Trade into China. It was formed as a chapter of a Bavarian Masonic Lodge by individuals who had studied and/or were influencial in right-Hegelian circles in Germany. Skull and Bones, which has always had a preference for ultra-white and ultra-rich and ultra-preppy types from rich families, and which has always been racist, sexist, homophobic and anti-Semitic, nonetheless has included a few Jews, Gays, Blacks or somewhat off-whites and since 1991 also women. Why? Skull and Bones rituals, doctrines, appointments and secrets are all about the acquisition, exercise and passing on of power. Among their quaint doctrines is that of "Creative Chaos" using the well-known model of Thesis, Antithesis and Synthesis. They argue that as patrician elites, they have literally beein ordained (heavy Calvinist influence in S and B) not only to rule the Thesis (established Order) but, also, to engineer the new and future Theses (established orders). Each Thesis is only temporary as its internal contradictions and the general unreliability of the masses, will inevitably cause its own Antithesis (counter-forces to the existing Thesis or established order). The struggles between Thesis and Antithesis will ultimately lead to a new Synthsesis that will then continue to develop as a new Thesis or new established Order. According to their doctrine of "Organized Chaos", it is their "duty" to plant their own types in various venues and in various arenas of diverse politics, to be able to initiate or control the forms, parameters, content and any struggles or chaos resulting from, emerging Antitheses to established Theses. This is so that they can also be involved in shaping the forms, content and limits of any Syntheses in order to shape the same in that which will become the new Theses or Orders that they will rule. They call this "Creative Chaos" or sometimes "Creative Instability". The prices to be paid--blood, devastation, war, etc--are considered "natural costs" of any new Orders or Theses they will run. I was aware of this concept from various literature on Skull and Bones, but according to Suskind's books, not refuted by the Bush Admin, coupled with some insider accounts in Clarke's book, it seems that this "Doctrine" (one sure way to tell a narcissist and megalomaniac is that they typically label their basic utterances and ideas not only as whole "theories" but as "General Theories"; and they label their preferences or policies as "Doctrines") has been explicitly mentioned and articulated as part of their overall "Doctrines". As part of their initiation, Bonesmen (now Bonespersons) are given an antique Grandfather Clock (which Bush has in the Oval Office and Bush has appointed 11 Bonesmen to high-level offices) to remind them that time is on the march and time is short to do all that is necessary to establish and run the next Thesis or Order that they have been "destined" to engineer (through engineered Syntheses) and run. One of the reasons for the increasing diversity in Skull and Bones relative to the old days of all white, rich, in-bred preppy punks is this notion of diverse personalities and backgrounds to play diverse roles from nominally diverse perspectives to "cover the spread" so to speak. That is one reason that Kerry, a Bonesman and apparently even more into it than Bush, tried to recruit Jacob Weisberg (a Jew and with some leftist credentials) into Skull and Bones right from his Senate office--Weisberg refused to be tapped.
