Comment

By communists and socialist advocacy, in the context of this article -
Nationalize GM, is meant the demand for food, housing (expansion of section 8)
^^^
CB: And a moratoriums on mortgage foreclosures
^^^

 and
all socially necessary means of life, regardless to whether or not General
Motors live or fails.

On the one hand the traditional "free market ideologues" are being defeated
as ideologists because the government is going to intervene in the economy
for a complex of reasons we are already familiar with. However, the
free-market
ideologists are being defeated by their bourgeois counterparts. The
counterpart of the free market ideologists, no matter what their particular
flavor, is
the meaning and definition of Social Democracy in its economic essence.

In its economic essence Social Democracy calls for raising the standard of
living of the masses without changing the property relations.

^^^
CB: Agree. Reformers, not revolutionaries
^^^

In the context of the Nationalize GM article the issue for the working
masses is not a particular industry or narrow trade union segment but socially
necessary means of life. If in fact the government is to take over ownership
of
General Motors, then it should also ensure that the masses receive socially
necessary means of life, even if the people have no money. I call the demand
that the masses receive socially necessary means of life, even if the people
have no money, the core of economic communism.

^^^
CB: Yea, they gave $8 trillion to the Wall Street banks , no questions asked,
give $ 16 trillion to the masses of the People, no questions asked, straight up
no exaggeration. We know they got the money. Give the People the Money !

^^^^

I am not opposed to nationalization as a means to educate the working masses
about taking a stance on behalf of themselves, but it seems to me this
current wave of nationalization is totally dominated by the bourgeois
ideologists.
Is there any section of the UAW talking about or demanding nationalization?

^^^
CB: Not that I have heard. They are shell-shocked, Social Democratic
opportunists, with no demand reflexes, the ultimate comeuppance of Reutherism.

But they are all we got.

^^^^

^^^^^

It seems to me the working class masses are striving for is things like
food, clothing, housing, shelter, health care and basic education along with
basic transportation Communists as communists are never scared to fight for
reforms but our bottom line is ripping socially necessary means of life out of
the
market - value, relations.

^^^
CB: Right now rip it straight out of the federal government like the Wall
Street Banks did. A broad cross section of the working masses, including right
wing populists, are very angry about these banks getting all that money from
taxpayers when if a person's loan is late, the bank gives them a higher
interest rate, and hassles the hell out of them. We could really get a big mass
movement demanding that the People get cash too.

March on Wall Street !

^^^^^

In passing it is of course absolutely disgusting the wave the President of
the UAW is falling all over himself to offer concessions to the Big Three. If
much of the present crisis of auto sales is in fact sales being down 30 -
40%, how on earth does concessions save jobs?

Peace

Waistline

Yes we can !
