negotiated ceasefire, not support of one reactionary gang or the
other.
Tell me, who do you think might be more of an impediment to a
"negotiated solution," a regime massively equipped with fighter planes
and helicopters, scud missiles, cluster bombs, heavy artillery, tanks
etc, all of which it uses on an enormous scale to destroy its cities and
towns and whoever lives there, or rebels with a few small arms, mostly
got from military defectors or home-made plus a trickle from
neighbiouring Arab states, who then get a few more small arms trickling
in from the US if they're lucky?
