Well, different strokes and all that. The video definitely tickled my schadenfreude bone, and I confess to laughing when the staff leaves because they have medicaid (ie., single payer) and when Hitler says Palin was right about the death panels. True, the source may be from the right (and thus wouldn't make it past the party committee) but even a blind rightwinger can find an acorn sometimes. Of course, being Canadian, I'm pretty well removed from all this and don't have a good thing to say about your Obamacare; how, though, do you think trade unionists who have struggled to win better plans would feel about the video?

ps. never having seen the movie excerpt before, it was pretty fresh for me.

Sorry, the video is a terrible piece on Obamacare. It is an attack on Obamacare from the right: most staff in the room leave because they got Medicaid under the expansion; Hitler liked the substandard policy he had; young are set against old; Sarah Palin is validated; and more. Nor does applying irony because Hitler says these things make the video a left-wing critique; at best, irony would lead the viewer to take it a defense of Obamacare.

And aren't we sick of new subtitles for this movie excerpt, a device that has been used too many times on it to have fresh impact.
