The last sentence in the article is typical of the low level of political understanding in Ukraine where "Marxism" means the CP for most workers and where real Marxists are even weaker than us:
“When Yanukovich was in power it was eight hryvnia to the dollar. Now it’s twelve.”
Actually the oligarch whose call to protest against the separatists was largely ignored was Yanukovych's primary backer. What's so fucked up about Ukraine is that both sides of the country are sick and tired of oligarchic rule but a class basis for overthrowing them does not exist.
