Opinion piece makes the case that "democratic socialists" in the Democratic Party can help American capitalism through single payer and other measures that lessen the burden on corporations. It is a throwback to the articles that mushroomed in 2008 pleading Obama to become the next FDR. Such reasoning is based on a poor grasp of the dynamics of capitalism today when profit margins are so thin.
