Well, maybe not. I'm not certain the Taliban is an indigenous Afghani force in its origins [not to say it hasn't recruited many over the years]. I recall the origins of the Taliban being with those trained by and in madrassahs in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and a significant number of these students being from areas other than those areas making up Afghanistan. If my memory is correct then I think it's understandable that some in Afghanistan don't consider the Taliban to be Afghani..
