Come on Michael, where did I say I accepted without question the facts as reported by Vijay? I said those assertions, claims are the critical issue, because this is a Marxist list and we know how class collaboration always leads to attacks on the workers and poor by the government. The issue isn't how much is occurring, the issue is is it oc- curring-- are ordinary workers, militants, supporters of the CPI-M being targeted for execution. Beheadings are just the barbaric icing on the bloody cake, if that is the cake that's being baked. This practice is not unknown in the history of rural struggle in India-- hell it is not unknown in the glorious history of prole- tarian struggle in Europe or Asia. Happened in Vietnam 1945, when the Trotskyists led the resistance to the restoration of French colonialism and the big C Communists decided to turn their guns around and fire on those workers and militants.
