I don't think so. The Tea Partiers aren't slaves, nor are they yeoman farmers of north Alabama, populist, union-oriented who hated the plantation owners so much that they were able, in part, and for a time, to overcome racism and join in the Union League movement in the South after the Civil War. Nope, these people are none of that.
