I think not being any different from the Democrats once you get into office 
could be a real problem with the Greens.Here in New Mexico,we never have had 
the chance to see what a Green would be like,if elected.In my 16 years as a 
Green,2000-2017,we never had a single candidate run for state local office.

The reason I became discouraged with the Greens,as someone who is 
poor,disabled,and a communist,was not because they were boIurgeois hippies,but 
that the Green Party I was a part of,was made up of upper middle,and upper 
class liberals.It was a very elitist bunch,more than one member lived alone in 
a large McMansion.It was a class issue for me.Also,in the years I was a party 
member,we could not grow our membership,it only shrank over time.I may have 
been stuck with a crappy branch,that is not representative of the party as a 
whole.
