As it is important for us to understand the thinking and schisms within the right, I often read articles in the "American Conservative." An article which goes to the subject and hand and the mixed bag of positions, incorporating some legitimate populism with social conservatism is here -- https://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/the-realignment-is-real/ While still reactionary and hyper-nationalist, this is not Buckley of Buchannan's vision and is more complicated. It is really more of an "Ayn Rand" libertarianism rife with American delusions of rugged individualism and xenophobia.
