I don't see much connection between Phil Ferguson's Marxism and
Marxmail. When I first ran into him more than 20 years ago, he was a
supporter of Frank Furedi's LM group in England that was about
contrarian as they come. Pro-nuke, pro-fox hunting, pro-unsafe sex,
pro-smoking in bars, etc. All this contrarianism had a Marxist veneer.
They dropped the veneer after Furedi decided that libertarianism was his
cup of tea rather than Marxism. Now, with his 5 or 6 fellow bloggers in
New Zealand, he is back to what LM was in the early 90s. Contrarianism
with a thin veneer of Marxism.
