Alan Wald's long and very interesting study of how Jack Barnes
transformed Leon Trotsky's flagship section into a cult. Written in
2011, it is more of an autopsy than anything. The SWP has become so tiny
and so irrelevant that I doubt anybody will ever take the time to write
another such analysis. It is more a subject of black comedy today with
its pro-Donald Trump politics than anything that would require the
attention of Marxists.
