As I understand it, the great Miner's Strike - is I think, a perfect example of where John Reimann is quite right in his laying huge responsibility on corrupt TU bureaucracies. The so-called Triple Alliance leaders of the Transport workers and Rail workers never came through - and left the Miners to be victims. In a different manner, the same happened to the MinersĀ in 1984-5. In both another problem was giving the bosses a long term warning of the coming Strike. During which they busily stock-piled. One thing that had concerned me, in what La Botz had to say about preparing for the slogan of a General Strike some 2 years down the pipe. H
