Hi Marv. I have not yet gone over your Piketty reference, and I intend to do that, and likely at the same time - digest Chris Slee's points. It may take me some time. But it does seem to me that the sell-off of the rural Machine Tractor Stations - is a clear indicator of a major change of course, that was not there before 1953. also the fact of the 'Leningrad Plot; - being exactly the changes fought for by Khrushchev, and fought to a standstill pre-1953. But a much fuller response is required, I agree. My afore-mentioned deadlines impede a wee bit, but I'll get there at some. stage. Cheers H
