Given the history of men in war, I would be extremely surprised if it transpired that there had been no sexual offences committed in the attacks of Oct 7, 2023. The allegation is of systematic use of sexual violence as a strategy - remember all the claims about these Hamas 'animals' being provided with viagra etc?
It is the notion that there were plans and orders that Hamas has denied. I don't think (I may have missed something) Hamas has said that no one from any group committed any offence. Their initial denial in fact referred to other people following once the wall was breached. I think the UN report betrays naivete at best. She should have refused to write the report on the basis that the Israeli government refused proper cooperation.
