La guerre génocidaire que mène l’armée israélienne à Gaza, avec le soutien des chancelleries du monde occidental, donne lieu, en France, à une séquence particulièrement dangereuse. Stigmatisé·es comme des soutiens au terrorisme, les militant·es et organisations de gauche et du mouvement de solidarité avec le peuple palestinien font face à la répression d’un État déjà bien engagé dans un tournant autoritaire et réactionnaire . Depuis le 7 octobre, c’est en grande partie au nom de la lutte contre l’antisémitisme que ce dernier se poursuit. En France, pays moteur de l’islamophobie dans le monde, la politique coloniale israélienne et le détournement de la lutte contre l’antisémitisme provoquent une dangereuse montée du ressentiment antijuif. Juives et Juifs de France, nous sommes instrumentalisé·es par le gouvernement et les forces politiques de droite et d’extrême-droite. Dans la longue période de fascisation que nous traversons, nous nous retrouvons d’autant plus isolé·es que nous sommes ouvertement utilisé·es comme prétextes au déploiement d’une politique islamophobe et antisociale. Cette situation est intenable et doit être renversée. Face au tournant autoritaire, face au racisme et au colonialisme, faisons bloc ! � We, Jewish anti-colonial organisations from different countries, gathered with organisations and activists advocating collective emancipation in Paris on 30 March 2024 to reaffirm the legitimacy of the Palestinian cause and international solidarity. The genocidal war waged by the Israeli army in Gaza, with the support of Western powers, is giving rise, in France, to a particularly dangerous sequence. Stigmatized as supporters of terrorism, left-wing activists and organizations in solidarity with the Palestinian people are facing repression from a state already deeply committed to an authoritarian and reactionary turn. Since October 7, much of this repression has been carried out in the name of the fight against antisemitism. In France, where Islamophobia is prominent globally, as well as in other places, Israeli colonial policy and the co-opting of the fight against antisemitism are contributing to a dangerous increase in anti-Jewish sentiment. We, French Jews, find ourselves exploited by the government and right-wing and far-right political forces.
