A few months ago, the /Committee for a Workers'/ /International/ (CWI)
published a document about the so-called /October War/ between Israel
and a coalition of Arab states in 1973. The author of this document,
written originally for internal circulation shortly after the war had
ended, was Peter Taaffe who has been a long-time leader of the CWI –
first as the right-hand man of Ted Grant, the organisations’ founder and
leading theoretician and, after he expelled Grant in early 1992, as its
main leader. [1]
