Sorry Michael K: I return to the train of thought, after reading in this a.m.'s NYT an intelligent theme that at least I had not broached - but I had thought of. The article was already too long for current purpose, without this argument.
In other words the bankruptcy and uselessness of 'defeat' of a multi-hydra headed enemy by assassination. Of course the Israelis led by Netanyahu are not even trying to 'plan' a way out - just to create fresh incidents to bring their co-partner the USA to the battle-field. Namely - the same argument that M-ist organisers have used against anarchism for years. Clearly, I do not have insights into who might come forward in Hamas but as sure as eggs is eggs, they will emerge.
