The interview covers history that proves the USA was founded NOT as a "Christian Nation" but was consciously-constructed to be the opposite of a religious state. The USA is the longest-lasting non-religious nation-state. There is no mention of any deity in the US Constitution, Christian or otherwise. There is likewise no mention of religion in the US Constitution except that it's outside government purview. Present these facts to a Christian nationalist, if you have one to argue with, and you hear that God appears in the foundational document of the United States Declaration of Independence, which refers to "the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God."
