Isn't the owner of Washington Post Jeff Bezos? He, too, might well be quiet so he can maximize his takings from the next administration. Patrick Soon-Shiong owns the LA Times. He is a pharmaceutical tycoon, again someone with business interests that can benefit from federal largesse. Not so good that businessmen from other industries own the media, is it? In any case, these examples do not narrow their motive down to being terrified of opposing a Hitler. They have positive reasons to play it safe.
