It is astounding that some people who think they are Marxists see no real difference between Trump and previous Republican presidents or Republican presidential candidates. That is the only way to understand such statements as this one made on this list: "There were those on the left that were convinced that* Nixon’s win in 1968* would be the start of fascism (sound familiar?)." It's like the boy who cried wolf: Just because he cried wolf before when there was no wolf doesn't mean there is not one today. These "Marxists" are buried in the past instead of looking at the real, actual situation today. You can still decide not to vote against Trump, but at least recognize reality. Is there a real difference? Here's a video I put together of Trump's fascist rally last Sunday interspersed with footage of the US Nazi rally of 85 years ago. Tell me that any Republican presidential candidate of the last 50 years would have done a rally like this one.
