Where did he say that, Charlie? He did write that "the fundamental 
contradiction of capitalism created by  the historical chasm in the metabolic 
exchange between humans and nature." Saito, Kohei. Marx in the Anthropocene: 
Towards the Idea of Degrowth Communism (p. 221). " That's not humanity vs 
nature; humanity is part of nature and introduces a "rift" in nature.
