For many years, I participated in the annual Buy Nothing Day. For those who don’t know, Buy Nothing Day is the day after Thanksgiving, otherwise known as Black Friday I’m pretty sure our efforts had no effect, but it was fun to tell people that we were doing it.
I know people who are participating in the Buy Nothing on February 28 Day and it seems like the effect is the same: telling people that you’re doing it the goal. I’m sure I won’t buy anything on that day, but since I’m not boasting about it, does it really matter? Kristin -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
