The first and evident contradiction here is first the claim that; ¨ In 2014, Russia invaded Ukraine anyway. ¨ Even while also stating that; ¨Ukrainians have fought for three years¨ which did not begin in 2014, if 2025 – 3 = 2022 As for the Ukrainian National Identity; that was recognized by Lenin ‘s Right to national self-determination, was it not. Putin even referred to this precedent to offset the accusation that the Russian Federation does not recognize Ukraine. As for the People’s Autonomous Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, there is not a word here. Why, because they were added onto the Ukrainian Republic of the Russian Federation by Khrushchev’s insistence, being Ukrainian, ostensibly for military strategic reasons during the Civil war. So now that the Peoples’ Republics seek their National Self-Determination Kyiv refuses, even while claiming the same Right for itself. Something like the Zionist State refusing to recognize the Palestinian Nation. The reality overlooked here is the refusal to recognize the referenda that have confirmed the resident population’s decision to join in the Russian Federation, because of the cultural-national affinity of the Russian language.
