False analogy: Gandall likens the international to the domestic sphere, reducing both to economic competition. It is ridiculous to ignore the crucial difference: on the global level, capitalist states have military power, and they have waged two world wars for the interests of their capitalists. False history: Gandall glorifies interpenetration of capital internationally by comparing it to – feudal times! How convenient to glide over the considerable interpenetration of British and German capitalism right up to World War One. Perhaps one can find an ex-LaRoucheite comentator to share the burden of this shabby logic... ... or better, Lyndon LaRouche's widow, Helga Zepp-LaRouche: Germany, France, Italy, and the other European countries could reflect on their existential self-interest and take up Chinese President Xi Jinping’s offer ... that the United States and other major countries join with the BRICS countries in building a new economic and financial system. ... The Chinese offer explicitly abandons the geometry of geopolitics, because it is open to all nations that want to cooperate. It is a “win-win strategy,” with advantages for all participants, as they work together for the higher common interest. https://archive.schillerinstitute.com/lar_related/2015/0107-hzl-china.html An eloquent elaboration of Gandall's garbled puffery! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
