A really viable economy can not be commercial.
Under demented capitalist logic nothing that fails to make a profit should be undertaken. If carbon capture is not profitable, "commercially viable" sounds better, it will not be done. Greed based accounting provides numbers that leave out the real costs of plunder and prevents planning for survival. Capitalist one dimensional, money only, accounting makes projects that are necessary for human survival impossible. Sane accounting can not be based on numbers, because the most important things can not be measured in numbers. There was a time when bankers in small towns invested in the town; not just personal profit. Were they communists?
