Besides commitment to Israel’s “ultimate vision” and “freedom, justice and peace,” immigrants are lured by less lofty perks: discounts on housing & cars; free healthcare, etc. It’s grotesque that Israel, largest recipient of US foreign aid (much of which comes back home as subsidies to Lockheed & Raytheon), can pay for its citizens’ healthcare when in the US one out of four diagnosed with cancer go bankrupt or lose their homes. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
