Good Comrades
I saw a real interesting movie last night, "Odd Man Out" (1947) with a
young James Mason as a leader in the IRA running from the North
Ireland/British police/oppressors. It was directed by Carol Reed who also
made one of my Top 5 movies, "The Third Man"

In the introduction to "Odd Man Out", while the TCM host introduced the
movie by saying that though they never mention the IRA by name--they called
it 'The Organization'--it was certainly about those freedom fighters.
He also said that the movie doesn't take sides, which is bull. It most
definitely was pro IRA.
And the best actor in the movie is this character (watch his face you will
see his thoughts):
