Dear abraham,
This is Shahaf, I'm an Israeli activist and conscientious objector proud
to spend my days resisting the occupation as part of Refuser Solidarity
Network. For the past three months since the latest ceasefire agreement
was signed, we have seen it broken numerous times and the humanitarian
situation in Gaza has only deteriorated. We have seen an increase in the
intensity of the attacks on Palestinian rural communities living in the
West Bank, as well as the frightening threat of forced displacement of
hundreds of Palestinian families in East Jerusalem. Israeli war
resisters are stretched thin, giving their hearts and souls amidst the
militarization, racism and fascism uprising in their own communities.
They refuse to give up on justice. I spoke to three inspiring activists
who are members of organizing collectives and groups that form part of
the wider anti-occupation movement and they generously shared with us
their personal views and experiences as activists. I ask you to help
amplify their voices by forwarding this newsletter to two friends who
need to hear from activists on the ground, doing the work from the belly
of the beast.

own minds, choices, friendships and loves are absolute proof that a

protest and they strive to create alternatives to repression. At Refuser
