The problem with Yves Engler is that he is a sectarian who does not know that Antisemitism exists. He harassed me at a demonstration here in Montréal because I would not support his candidacy to become NDP (New Democrtic Party) leader. His use of the term 'JewishSupremacy' is a false allusion to a 'Jewish Lobby' which is the creation of the Antisemites. What operates is a Zionist Loby, both Jewish and Christian. The majority of Jewish people in the Diaspora are opposed to the occupation and the genocide in Gaza but we do not have a vote in Israel's elections inspite of being at least 55% of the Jewish world population.
Avi Lewis on the other hand is a delcared Jewish Anti-Zionist from a family of Bundist heritage. As for Engler's registration as a candidate, I don't know the story there but CJPMA did not include him in the candidates debate recently.
