Thank you, ANdie -- as a "friend --- more likely acquaintance" of Noam's and a long time admirer (Annie and I first met Noam and Carol in 1982 though I had convinced him in the 1970s to read and write an affidavit about Louis Nizer's book THE IMPLOSION CONSPIRACY even though we'd only met on the phone) --- but definitely a VERY STRONG ADMIRER, I appreciate your detailed intervention --- hope it helps lots of people sort out their feelings and judgements
