Two days after Mencho got taken out, a local TV station did a walkthrough of Mencho's house, where, supposedly, all this took place. His home isn't anything special, two stories, three bedrooms by a golf course, with a patio looking out at other houses that look the same. There was no crime scene tape around the house, but there was a guard who I assume took a bribe to let the tv crew in. The front door had been kicked in, and the entrance way ceiling had a row of 5 or 6 bullet holes that looked like they had come from the spay of a machine gun. But that was it for damages. No broken furniture, no more bullet holes or pools of dried blood.The place was tidy; no dirty dishes or clothes to be laundered. This happened "early in the morning" but the beds were still made. A lot of stuff had been turned upside down by treasure hunters, but that was all. Interestingly, the table with the Virgin Mary and Mencho's collection of other holy statues was undisturbed.
