Britain created a much more liberalized set of censorship laws than those found 
on the Mainland under Communist governance."

By the late 1970s, Deng Xiaoping had overthrown communist rule, was well into 
dismantling socialism, and had the regime studying how to promote capitalism. 
It is a slur to talk about this as Communist. Oh, you could say it is just the 
name they use, capitalized, but it is sloppy political discourse.
