Sorry...who doesn't think the US (and Israel) hasn't depleted much of its stock. For over 2 weeks all the talking head/ex-military officers who opined on this used "half" or "50%". It is only some segments of the sycophantic pro-Iranians (none here) have argued since a week after the war started that the US and Israel have depleted "all their munitions".
The article is accurate in so far it doesn't deviated from other military sources on the state of munitions. The U.S. (and Israel) can, if it wants, continue to devastate the Iranian infrastructure and people. The only issues are this: Can Israel continue to defend against drones/missiles? That one is a little up in the air at the moment as the networks have stopped all visual showings of damage to Tel Aviv (the idiocy, IMO, of targeting civilian residents and city blocks as *opposed* to military institutions and refineries is beyond my understanding. The Russians have been doing the same thing now for 4 years, a militarily idiotic strategy, but there should be no surprise there). The larger issue is if a war with China developed, could the U.S. have the munitions to defend their fleets. Well...the two U.S. carrier groups in the Middle East haven't, to my knowledge, used any of their defensive/AA munitions whatsoever.
