I just purchased one from your list, Ian,
https://www.versobooks.com/products/3452-the-alibi-of-capital, which will be
read by the Marxist Education Project's Planetary Crisis reading group. That
will start on May 20th.

But I expect that Metabolic Rifts will be on the agenda this summer for my
local (Portland, Oregon) ecosocialist book club. But first, everyone decided to
read Matt Huber's Climate Change is Class War, which is an interesting choice
since a few of the people read it together a few years ago when it came out.
The re-read is useful, I think, because of the productivist versus metabolic
debate among Marxist thinkers. The recent degrowth proposals on the left
(https://degrowth.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/decreixement_ENG_3.pdf) are
another reason to look at the green growth proposal.
