The author of the book entitled The Future of Truth proudly advertised that he used AI to write his book. Quotes were misattributed and made up; non-existent references also appear in the book, which apparently needed a LOT more editing than what was devoted to the task. One of those who were quoted complained that "I would never write something like that." Is this a bug or a feature of Large Language Models of AI neural-networks? I think the failures are a feature that is intrinsic to these pattern-matching systems that their capitalist promoters label "intelligence."
