1.In early 2026 Washington imposed an oil and energy blockade against
Cuba that has left the country facing crippling fuel shortages and
widespread blackouts. More recently, the Trump Administration indicted
Raúl Castro – the most important leader of the revolution in 1959 after
his brother Fidel – for an incident which happened 30 years ago! Trump
and his Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a right-wing warmonger linked to
the “/gusanos/” (the pro-Yankee Cuban diaspora), have repeatedly
threatened to attack and invade the island. Their goal is to either
replace the regime or to transform it into a servant of U.S. imperialism
– like they achieved it in Venezuela with the kidnapping of President
Maduro and replacing him with theservile lackeyDelcy Rodríguez.
