Good comrade, I worked with LA-CAN during the last 5 years of my active activism. It ranks with my participation in the RAC-LA, in our Free Food Program in MacArthur Park <https://www.survivorjusticecenter.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Handout7_FoodPantries.pdf> (now MAALA <https://www.instagram.com/p/CDaMRRbJWKS/?hl=zh-cn>) working amongst the poor and migrant workers, those without papers, as the most important in my life. Medical attention, Food, political actions, etc. Whenever and wherever the brave and selfless comrades of LA-CAN were needed, they were there. And, so long as there is need, they will be there.
Unfortunately, my health and common sense dictated my exit from activism but the work that LA-CAN did and does preceded my involvement by 2 decades and two decades from now, as long as there are humans in need, LA-CAN will be there.
