Marx did not advocate for the destruction of the West. The people who
claim his mantle today promote a misanthropic form of decadence. It
was once said that capitalists would rather see the destruction of the
planet than lose their power. Marxists (such as they are constituted
today), for their part, have adopted a similar position.
