I checked in the initial transformation for Google gadgets - gadget.xslt. But
to make more progress, I need some support from the requestprocessor.
Depending on whether the items listed below are possible, I can proceed down my
current track or choose a new one.
1) Let's hook gadget.xslt up to ?gadget. For now let's keep the other
parameters as is, except as outlined below.
2) I've implemented gadget.xslt as a layer on top of tryit.xslt. Thus there is
an import statement in gadget.xslt. We might have to implement a urlresolver
callback during the trasnformation to acquire this file.
3) The wsrequest-location, xslt-location, stub-location, and image-path
parameters all need to be absolute, pointing back to the mashup server hosting
the service. (We may need a parameter to control this too, if we host Google
gadgets within the same Tomcat instance - but we'll get to that later.)
Ideally, this will allow one to paste the ?gadget url for a service into
iGoogle and get a try-it widget for that service.
