I've had good results with Fedora (& CentOS) using cpan2rpm. You
should be able to do yum install cpan2rpm. Then use cpan2rpm to build the
modules you want, then use
rpm -Uvh modulename.rpm
...to install the actual RPM file. The filename you want should be
displayed near the end of the output from cpan2rpm.
