True...proxy server.  Didn't think of that...  I suppose I envisioned a 
web site to "magically" know that two consecutive requests was by the 
same client or not...but I better concentrate on coding a working 
solution rather than hoping magic will save the day.  ;-)

Thank you also for the HTTP authentication link!  Will consider it if 
what I'm doing so far proves to be problematic (for some unforeseen reason).
