yes, this was very disappointing.
There were rumors, that at least one company was not very interested in searching teams for their platform, because they fear that they don't give good results ... ;-P

yes, this was planned, but I don't know what the status is.

I have the sources of all Perl teams, I can ask the Mason team if I can send it to you.

But all sources should be published on the website, even if it may not possible to use them if they use their own framework like winning team in the Java category.
