I'm also having problems accessing some web pages. The strange
thing is, at first things seemed to run beautifully. I was able to
access all web pages I tried, IRC servers I had no problem with, then
slowly things started to get limited. All of the sudden web pages I
used to be able to connect to I couldn't, same thing with IRC servers.
Currently I'm running Red Hat 5.2 with 2.0.34 kernel. I'm running the
basic ipfw policies allowing everything in and out from all locations.
It makes very little sense. Some web pages it connects to but waits for
a reply forever. Other web pages it starts to transfer data but will
sit there for a good 20 minutes or so before it continues to pull the
rest of the data down. And I know it's not just the web page because
from the linux box it works just fine! Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
