I thought I heard a "Tim Thomas" say:

[wipes blood off the list]

Tim, you're off. Would've been nice if you had just emailed me directly
rather than emailing all 600+ list members, since they can't do anything
about it. Asking me directly saves a hefty chunk of bandwidth both on my
connection and on list members' mail reading time.

Everyone else, I realize this is a lot more complex than most lists, but
if you don't know your password--it was in the "welcome to masq" message
you got when you joined or when you were converted to the new software--
PLEASE go to the web site at

                http://tiffany.indyramp.com/mailman/listinfo/masq

And request your password. There's a place there that you type your
password in and click on the "send my password" button (may not be those
exact words), and it will email your password to you. This works in
Netscape, Internet Explorer, Lynx, or most other forms-capable browsers.

If you can't do this, email me directly at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and I will help out. Whatever you do, do NOT send admin requests to the
mailing list. It's bad form for any mailing list to do this.

And for those of you who need to complain, I am waiting for the
unsub-without-password feature for the mailman software. Once it's
available I plan to put it into use. It looks like 104 addresses have been
able to unsubscribe with a password, so it is technically possible.

Thanks,
Rob Novak
