A few things:
1. IPCHAINS uses IPMASQADM to enable port forwarding
2. Don't use IPAUTOFW.. use IPPORFW
3. Are you sure your 2.2.5 kernel supports IPPORTFW?
4. Do you have IPMASQADM installed?
