Hi,
I am using ipautofw to foward X packets to port 6400 on the clients
behind the firewall, activated via rsh or rlogin.
Here is what I typed:
ipautofw -A -r tcp 6400 6400 -c tcp 513
ipautofw -A -r tcp 6400 6400 -c tcp 514
This isn't working quite right (it looks very similar to the one in the
README file for the X-Windows one).
When I list the masquraded connections, they look like this:
tcp 119:52.02 0.0.0.0 somehost.com 6400 (6400) ->
61679
I'm not sure but the problem seems to be the source of 0.0.0.0. Isn't
ipautofw smart enough to forward the packets to the host that opened the
forward in the first place?
I need this to support multiple hosts on our side.
