I am using Caldera OpenLinux 1.3 with the 2.0.35 kernel
I have an internal network (192.168.1.0) that I want to connect to the
Internet via my Linux router. The Linux router has 2 cards, 192.168.1.1
(internal) and 203.96.92.104 (the Internet). I can ping the Internet
interface from workstations in my local network but am still unable to get
to the outside world (although I can from the Linux box).
I have enabled IP forwarding and IP masquerade in the kernel. According to
the caldera manual I need to select the IP forwarding daemon with lisa
--daemons but when I do that there is no IP forwarding option to enable.
Also there is no ipfwctrl in the /etc/rc.d/init.d directory.
I have also run :
ipfwadm -F -p deny
ipfwadm -F -a m -S 192.168.1.0/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0
Can anyone help? What am I doing wrong?
